PHNOM PENH

The capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, is located where the three great rivers - the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac – come together. The city is the country’s commercial, economic and political hub. It is also the doorway to the ancient temples of Angkor in the west, the beaches of Sihanoukville, the jungles of Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri provinces in the northeast, and a wide-open, unspoiled countryside of rice paddies, villages and temples just waiting to be explored.

Phnom Penh City has several cultural and historical attractions such as the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Wat Phnom, Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields, amongst others.

The city also offers a range of services for visitors of varying budgets, including budget through to luxury accommodation, excellent restaurants, a vibrant bar & entertainment scene, and an assortment of shopping opportunities including traditional markets and stylish boutiques.
