A number of films/documentaries have been made about Cambodia - the most famous film probably being 'The Killing Fields' directed by Roland Joffé in 1984

 

In recent years there has been a surge in Khmer film/documentary production, from a variety of Cambodian directors such as the highly acclaimed Rithy Panh through to previously unknowns
